1727 at the then next March Court as a prosecutor against the afd Phil Church where with he Acknowledges himself Content Ordered that Sum.s Issue for John Browning jun.r or Evid.c ag.st him
Whereupon William Wood of Kent County planter acknowledges himself Indebted unto the Lord propry of this province of Maryland in the Sum of ten pounds Sterling to be made and Leveyed of his goods and Chattles Lands and Tenements for the use of his said Lordship his heirs and Successors Conditionally that if he shall not make his personall appearance at the next March Court to be held for Kent County to answer unto an Exhibited against him for dealing with Negro's and if that in the mean time he shall not be of good behaviour Also Peter Massey of Kent County planter acknowledges himself Indebted unto the Lord propry of this province of Maryland in the sum of ten pounds Sterl to be Leveyed as afd Conditionally that if the afd William Wood shall not make his psonall appearance at the then next March Court to be held for the County afd to answer unto an Inform Exhibited against him for dealing with Negroes and if that in the mean time he shall not be of good behaviour Ordered that Daniel Massey find Security for his appearance to Next Court as an Evidence against the afd William Wood Whereupon Peter Massey of Kent County planter as afd acknowledges himself Indebted unto the Lord propry of this province of Maryland in the sum of five pounds Sterl to be Leveyed as afd Conditionally that if the afd Daniel Massey shall not make his psonall appearance at the next March Court as an Evidence against the afd William Wood wherewith he is Content
Whereupon John Wilson of Kent County Taylor Acknowledges himself Indebted unto the Right Honble the Lord propry of this province |
