And other harms to him then and there did to the great Damage of the said Thomas
And against the peace of the said Lord prop.ry that now is his good rule &
Dignity &c.a Whereupon the said Tench Francis prayeth the advice of the Court
here in the premisses for the said Lord prop.ry and that due process of Law may
issue against the said John in this part to Answer unto the said Lord prop.ry
of an upon the premisses

    And the af.d John in his proper pson comes and Saith that he cannot
gainsay the Information afd so as afd against him brought nor can he say
but that he is guilty of the premisses above upon him Imposed as by the
afd Information it is alledged And thereupon Submitts to the Court

    Therefore it is Considered by the Justices here to wit at the Court house
in the Town of Chester in said County this fifteenth Day of November Anno
Dom. seventeen hundred twenty & Six that the afd John Ambrose pay to the
Lord prop.ry of this province the sum of six pence Current Money of the province
afd as a fine for his afd offence for Committing an Assault and Battery as
by the afd Information it is alledged as also the sum of two hundred thirty
& Eight pounds of Tobacco Costs accrueing On the premisses ^afd^ to the Officers of
this Court

found against him for Assault and battery the sherr
of Kent County to whom the said writt was directed makes return thereof to this

twenty six the Day of return of said Writt Endors't as foll viz.t

    Kent County fs.t Memorandum that Tench Francis Gentl Attorney of the right
Hon.ble the Lord prop.ry that now is who for the same Lord prop.ry in this part
followeth doth Come here into Kent County Court before Lambert Wilmer Esq.r
and his Associates his said Lordships Justices of the same County Court to wit
at New Town in the County afd the twenty seventh Day of September Anno
