Daniel Pearkins and John Sutton both of Kent County planters present here in Court in their proper persons do acknowledge themselves Indebted unto the Right Hon.ble the Lord prop.ry of this province of Maryland in the Sume of twenty pounds Sterl money of great Brittain to be made and Leveyed of their Several Goods and Chattels Lands and Tenements of the use of the s.d Lord prop.ry his heirs & Successors Conditionally that if Negroe Tony [belonging to y.e afd Dan.l Pearkins] shall not make his personal appearance before the Justices of this next Court to be held for the County afd at the Court house in the Town of Chester in the Same County on the Third Teusday of March next ensueing to Answer unto what Shall be objected against ^him^ on his Lordships behalf and if that in the mean time he the Same Negroe Tony Shall not be of Good Behaviour wherewith the Same Dan.l Pearkins and John Sutton are Content The Court adjorns till to Morrow Morning at Eight of y.e Clock
