exceed five thousand dollars, shall be exempt from taxa-
tion: And the members of the Faculty, and the Students
of said college, shall be exempt from serving as jurors,
and also from the performance of Militia duty, in time of
peace.

CHAPTER 200.


A further Supplement to the act, entitled, An act to Incorpo-
rate a Company, to make a Turnpike Road from the Ci-
ty of Baltimore to Havre de Grace.

Passed Mar. 14, 1833

Section I. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Ma-
ryland, That all such parts of the act to which this is a
supplement, as authorise and direct the said company, to
open and make the said road in Harford county, from the
western side of Bynum's Run, Havre-de-Grace, be and
the same are hereby repealed, and that the said company,
in making and extending the Turnpike Road, in virtue of
said act, shall be and hereby are authorised to terminate
said road, on the western side of said run.

An act to Incorporate the Toulon Company.

Passed Mar. 15, 1833

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Robert Oliver, Lewin Wethered, Francis
Neal, James Harwood, James Ferguson, George Warner,
Alexander Falls, David Stewart, Andrew Ellicott, John B.
Howell, Reverdy Johnson, Joseph King, jr., Hugh Mc-
Eldery, James Biays, William Denny, and all and every
other person or persons hereafter becoming members of
the Toulon Company, in the manner hereinafter mentioned,
their successors and assigns, shall be, and they are hereby

shall and may have perpetual succession, and be capable
