aforesaid certificate of valuation and appraisement of the
said marshes and low lands into the Recorder's office of

CHAP. 180.

Kent county in the State of Delaware, there to be record-
ed, and in all cases of other or new valuations whenever any
new ditch or ditches shall be laid out, a like plot of such
new ditch or ditches shall be made out, and returned, and
recorded in like manner.

Sec. 4. And be it enacted, That the said Company, at
each and every annual meeting thereof, shall choose by
ballot, and by majority of votes, four managers, one trea-
surer, and one Secretary, who shall respectively continue
in office until the last Saturday in April next ensuing their
election, and until successors shall respectively be
chosen.

Sec. 5. And be it enacted, That the said Company shall
have power, at any and every annual meeting thereof, to
ascertain and determine the sum or sums of money which
it may be necessary to raise for the purposes of the said
Company, and to assign to the managers respectively such

tendence, as may be deemed expedient and proper, and to
determine upon and give direction concerning all matters
touching the interest of said company, and which may be
deemed requisite for effectually draining and reclaiming

the managers, for the time being, as soon as conveniently
may be, after the said company shall have ascertained and
determined at any annual meeting, any sura or sums of
money to be raised for the purposes of the said company,

low grounds, such sum or sums of money so ascertained
and determined to be raised; that is to say, the said com-
pany having determined (in manner aforesaid) upon the
sum or sums of money to be raised at any particular time,
