A further supplement to an act, entitled, an act to authorise
the rebuilding of a bridge over Conowingo Creek, at or
near Abijah Fenn's, in Cecil county, passed at December
session, eighteen hundred and thirty one, chapter seventy-

Levy $350.
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the Commissioners of Cecil County be, and they are
hereby authorised, at their discretion, to levy on the as-
sessable property of said county, in the year eighteen
hundred, and thirty-four, the sum of three hundred and
fifty dollars, to be levied and collected as other county
taxes are, and when so collected, shall be paid over to the
commissioners appointed by the act to which this is a sup-
plement, to build a bridge over Conowingo Creek.

An act to make a Public Landing, and Road, therein
mentioned.
|
|
|
Preamble.
|
WHEREAS, it is represented to this General Assembly,
by the petition of sundry citizens of Caroline County, in
the vicinity of Upper Hunting Creek, in said county, that
they labour under great inconvenience for want of a public
landing at a place called the back landing on said creek,
and a road from thence to intersect the county road lead-
ing from said Upper Hunting Creek to Jacob C. Wilson's
Store, somewhere between the two last mentioned places;

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That William Potter, William Orrell, and
Aaron Clark, be, and they, or a majority of them are hereby
appointed commissioners, to meet at the place commonly
called the back landing on Upper Hunting Creek in Caro-
line county in the present year, and examine and determine
whether the public convenience does require that a public
landing should be established at or near said landing, and
a public road located and opened to said landing, and if, in
the opinion of the said commissioners or a majority of
