	@	Command was given to the Sheriff of Somerset County that he Should Take Stephens White
LD	Elias White	Late of Somerset County Gent. and Elias White Late of Somerset County Gent. Otherwise Called We

Stevens White and Elias White if they Should be found in his Bailywick and him Should Safe keep so that he
might have their Bodys before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at Princes Ann
Town the third Tuesday of June Anno Dom. one thousand Seven hundred and Sixty to Answer unto
Outerbridge Horsey of A plea that they Render unto him the full and Just Sum of One hundred pounds
Sterling money of Great Brittain which to him they Owe and unjustly detain &^c. And the Same day is
given to the af^d. Outerbridge here &^c.
                                                             Att which day here Came the af^d. Outerbridge Horsey by William Hayward
his Attorney and the Sheriff to witt John Dennis Gent. now here Returned that he had taken the af^d. Elias White
whose body here at this day he had Ready to Answer the af^d. Outerbridge of the af^d. plea as to him it was Commanded
And further the Same Sheriff Returned that the af^d. Stephen White was not found in his Bailywick &^c
        Whereupon the Said Elias White at the prayer of the af^d. Outerbridge Horsey is Adjudged to give Special
Bail to the Action af^d.    Thereupon a Certain Littleton Dennis of Somerset County Gent. present here in
Court in his proper person undertook for the Said Elias White that if it Should happen that Judgment in the
plea af^d. Should be Rendred for the Said Outerbridge Horsey Against the af^d. Elias White or that he the Said
Elias Should be therein Convict that then he the Said Elias Should pay and Satisfie unto the af^d. Outerbridge
the Judgment of the Court thereupon or Render his body in Execution of Such Judgment to the prison of the
Sheriff of the County af^d. in Satisfaction thereof or that he the Said Littleton Dennis will do the Same for him &^c
      Whereupon the Said Elias White puts in his place Littleton Dennis Gent. Attorney at Law Against
the af^d. Outerbridge Horsey of the af^d. plea
           And thereupon at the prayer of the parties af^d. day is to them now here Given untill next Court
to be held at Princes Ann Town in and for the County af^d. the third Tuesday of August then next following
in the State that now Saveing to the parties af^d.
           Att which day here Came the parties af^d. by their Attorneys af^d. And hereupon the Said Outerbridge
Horsey declared Against the af^d. Elias White in the plea af^d. in form following
Somerset fs^t Elias White Late of Somerset County Gent. Otherwise Called we Stevens White and Elias White was
Summoned to Answer unto Outerbridge Horsey of A plea that he Render him One hundred pounds Sterling
Money of Great Brittain which to him he Owes and unjustly Detains and So forth
And Whereupon the Said Outerbridge by William Hayward his Attorney Complains that whereas the
Said Elias the xxiii day of March Anno Dom. MDCCLIX at Somerset County af^d. by his Certain Writing
Obligatory which the Said Outerbridge with the Seal of the af^d. Elias Sealed here to the Court Shews whose date is
the Same day and year af^d. Acknowledged himself to be held and firmly bound unto the Said Outerbridge in
the Sum of One hundred pounds Sterling money of Great Brittain to be paid to the Said Outerbridge when
he the Said Elias Should be thereto afterwards Required Nevertheless the Said Elias tho often thereto
Required the Sum of Money af^d. unto the Said Outerbridge hath not paid but the Same to him to pay hiterto
Altogether hath Refused and Still doth Refuse and unjustly deny Whereupon the Said Outerbridge
Says he is Worse and hath Damage to the Value of One hundred pounds Sterling money of Great Brittain
And thereof he brings Suit and So forth                                                 Pledges &^c J. Doe & R. Roe
