March Court 1761 63 Over and Above his Common wearing Cloaths and do not Likewise find and Provide for his Said Apprentice meat drink washing Lodging and Cloathing Sufficient for Such an Apprentice to have and Wear during the term afd. &c.
Secrets keep his Commandments Lawfully and honestly everywhere willingly he Shall doe and in all things as good and faithfull Apprentice he Shall demean himself towards his Said Master and all his during the term afd. In Consideration of Which Service the Said Henry Calkwell present here in Court in his proper person Covenanteth with the Justices of the Same Court in Court Judicially Sitting in Manner and form following that is to Say that he the Said Henry Caldwell Shall and will during the term afd. Learn his Said Apprentice the trade of a Glover and Leather Breeches Maker and to Read write and Cypher as far as the Rule of three Inclusive and at the Expiration of his Servitude give him a New Suit of Cloaths of Narrow broad Cloath and Likewise find and provide for his Said Apprentice Meat drink washing Lodging and Cloathing Sufficient for Such an Apprentice to have and wear during the Term afd. Whereupon the Said Henry Calkwell is ordered to give Security to Comply with the Covenants afd. Thereupon the Said Henry Calkwell together with Robert Hopkins and Lane Roberson of Somerset County planters his Securitys all present here in Court in their proper persons Acknowledged themselves indebted unto the afd. Stephen Hath in the Sum of thirty Pounds Curt Money of Maryland on their bodys goods or Chattles Lands and tenements Joyntly and Severally to the use of the Said Stephen Hath his heirs and Assigns to made and Levied if it happen that the Said Henry Calkwell do not during the term afd. Learn his Said Apprentice the trade of a Glover and Leather breeches maker and to Read write and Cypher as far as the Rule of three Inclusive and at the Expiration of his Servitude do not Give him a New Suit of Cloaths over and above his Commoon wearing Cloaths and and do not Likewise find and provide for his Said Apprentice meat drink washing Lodging and Cloathing Sufficient for Such an Apprentice to have and wear during the term afd. &c.

Thereupon the Said William Willen together with John Hopkins and Jacob Messex of Somerset County planters his Securitys all present here in Court in their proper persons Acknowledged themselves Indebted unto the afd. John Anderson in thirty pounds Curt Money of Maryland on their bodys goods or Chattles Lands and tenements to Joyntly And Severally to the use of the Said John Anderson his heirs And Assigns to be made and Levied if it happen that the Said William Willen do not during the term afd. Learn his Said Apprentice the trade of a Black Smith and to Read write and Cypher as far as the Rule of Division Inclusive and Likewise do not find and provide for his Said Apprentice meat drink washing Lodging and Cloathing Sufficient for Such an Apprentice to have and wear during the term afd.
