Said Master and all his during the term afd.    In Consideration of Which Service
the said William Tully present here in Court in his proper person Covenanteth with ye.
Justices of the Same Court in Court Judicially Sitting in manner and form following
that is to say that he the said William Tully shall and will during the term afd.
Learn his said apprentice the trade of a house Carpenter & to Read Write and Cypher
as far as the Rule of three Inclusive and at ye. Expiration of his servitude give him
a sett of Tools & a new suit of Cloaths over and above his Common wearing Cloaths
and Likewise find and Provide for his said apprentice meat Drink washing Lodging
and Cloathing Sufficient for such an apprentice to have and wear during ye.

                     Whereupon the said William Tully is ordered to give Sery
for to Comply with the Covenants Aforesaid Thereupon the said William Tully
Together with Sameull Baly and William Gravener of Somerset County Gent.
his Serys all present here in Court in their proper persons Acknowledged themselves
Indebted unto the afd. Jonathan Nicholson in thirty Pounds Current money of
                                               Chattles
Maryland on their Bodies Goods & ^ Lands and Tenements Joyntly and Severally to the
use of the said Jonathan Nicholson his heirs and Assigns to be made and Levied
if it happen that the said Wm. Tully do not during the term afd. Learn his said
apprentice the trade of a house carpenter and to Read Write and Cypher as far as ye.

Thomas Pollit    To the Worshipfull Justices of Somerset County now Sitting the
Petition    Humble Petition of Your Petitioner Sheweth that he is Possessed of
Part of two Tracts of Land the one Called Trouble the other Called Dentry and prays your
Worships would be pleas'd to Appoint Commissioners to Examine Evidences to perpetuate
the Bounds of the Said Tracts of Land or any other Joining thereton or that the same
May any ways depend on and Your Petitioner as in duty Shall Ever Pray

Whereupon Come here into Court the aforesaid Petitioner in his Proper person &
thereupon the Petition afd. being Read and heard & fully understood it is Considered
by the Court here that a Commission Issue to the aforesaid Thomas Pollit as by the Petition
aforesaid is praid & that Levin Gilliss, Thomas Holbrook, Thomas Dashiell & Charles
Leatherbury of Somerset County gentlemen be Commissioners and Execute the Same
Commission According to Act of Assembly in Such Case Provided &c.

John Pirkins                   an Orphan
Choose    John Pirkins ^ above the age of fourteen Years came here into
John Broughton    in his Proper person & prays that he may be permitted to Chose
   Guardian    a Certain John Broughton Late of Somerset County Gentleman
as his guardian which is by the Court hereunto him granted &c.     Thereupon
the said John Pirkins Present here in Court as afd. made Choice of the aforesaid
John Broughton as his Guardian Accordingly Whereupon the said John
