Successors if the Said Ezekiel Mathews make default in the Condition under Writt
      The Condition of this Recognizance is Such that if the above Bounden Ezekiel Mathews Shall Personally
Appear Before his Lordships Justices of the Peace in and for the County of Somerset at the next Court to be holden for the
Same County at Princes Ann Town the third Tuesday in March next Do then and there Answer all Such Matters &
things which Shall be then and there Objected Against him being Suspected of Altering or forgeing Some part of
a bond past by the Said Isaac Mathews, Elijah Mathes and Elijah Wood to the afd. Ezekiall Mathews and not to depart
without Leave of the Court and in the meantime to be of Good behaviour then this Recognizance to be Void or Else to be and
Remain in full force Power and Virtue in Law            Taken & Acknowledged before me            Samuell Addams
      Att which Said Third Tuesday of March Anno Dom. One thousand Seven hundred and Sixty at A Court
then held at Princes Ann Town in and for the County of Somerset afd. Came the afd. John Mathews and Isaac Mathews
in their Proper persons are Securitys for the afd. Ezekiell Mathews but the Said Ezekiell Came not thereupon at the
Request of the afd. John & Isaac Mathews the Recognizance afd. is Respited and Every thing thereto Relating is by the
Court here Respited untill next Court to be held at Princes Ann Town the third Tuesday of June then next following in the
State that now &c
           Att which day here Came the afd. John Mathews and Isaac Mathews in their Proper persons
Securitys as afd. but the Said Ezekiell Came not thereupon at the Request of the afd. John and Isaac Mathews the
Recognizance afd. is Respited and Every thing thereto Relating is by the Court here Respited untill next Court to be held
at Princes Ann Town the third Tuesday of August then next following in the State that now &c.
           Att which day the afd. Ezekiall Mathews altho Solemnly Called Came not but made default and the
                                                                             and Each of them Solemnly Called
Said John Mathews and Isaac Mathews Securitys as afd. Altho Solemnly Called ^ to bring in the Body of the afd. Ezekiell
Mathis Came not but made default &c.
