Ordered that Teague Riggen Benjamin Benston & Jabez Pitt recover agt Ezekll. Mathews
one hundred & forty four pounds of Tobacco Each being due unto them for their attendance
Six days Eah as Evidences on behalf of his Lordship agt. Ezekiell Mathews they having made
Oath to ye. Same &c

Ordered that Wilson Hath recover agt. William Geddes forty Eight pounds of Tobacco
being due unto him for his attendance two days as an Evidence on behalf of ye. said
William agt. John Weatherly he having made Oath to ye. Same &c.

Ordered that John Irving & John Newman recover agt. Thomas Howard Seventy
two pounds of Tobacco Each being due unto them for their attendance three days Each as Evidences
on behalf of ye. said Thomas agt. John Caldwell they having made Oath to ye. Same &c.

Ordered that Dinah Bloyd Joshua Kellum & William Roach recover agt. Jonathan Roach
Seventy two pounds of Tobacco Each being due unto them for their attendance three days Each
as Evidences on behalf of his Lordship agt. Jonathan Roach they having made oath to ye. Same &c.

Ordered that Edmond Hough Recover agt. John Cox Seventy two pounds of Tobacco being
due unto him for his attendance three days as an Evidence on behalf of ye. said John Cox agt.
B. Fransway he having made oath to ye. Same &c. & it is further ordered that Edmond Hough
recover agt. John Cox Forty Eight Pounds of Tobacco for his Itinerinte Charges

Ordered That Ambros Fitzwater recover agt. James Riggin ninty Six pounds of Tobacco
being due unto him for his attendance four days as an Evidence on behalf of his Lordship agt.
James Riggen he having made Oath to ye. Same &c.

Ordered that Ambros Fitzwater recover agt. John Donohoe ninty Six pounds of Tobacco
being due unto him for his attendance four days as an Evidence on behalf of his Lordship
agt. John Donohoe he having made Oath to ye. same &c.

Ordered that Charles Hamon Recover agt. Wm. Brereton forty Eight pounds of Tobacco
being due unto him for his Attendance two Days as an Evidence on behalf of ye. said
Brereton agt. John White he having made Oath to ye. same &c.

Ordered that Samuel Owens Recover agt. Wm. Brereton Seventy two pounds of
Tobacco being due unto him for his attendance three days as an Evidence on behalf
of ye. said Wm. agt. John White he having made Oath to ye. Same &c.

Ordered that Samuel Coulbourn recover agt. Wm. Smith Ninty Six pounds of Tobacco
being due unto him for his attendance four days as an Evidence on behalf of ye. said William
Smith agt. Charles Brown he having made Oath to ye. same &c.

@       Command was given to the Sheriff of Somerset County that he Should Take James
WH    James Smith    Smith Late of Somerset County planter if he Should be found in his Bailywick and him Should
Safe keep so that he might have his body before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at
Princes Ann Town the third Tuesday of March Anno Dom. one thousand Seven hundred and fifty Sixty
to Answer unto Elijah Mathews of A plea of trespass upon the Case and So forth    And the Same day is given to the
afd. Elijah here &c.
           Att which day Came the afd. Elijah Mathews by Littleton Dennis his Attorney
And the Sheriff to wit John Dennis Gent now here Returned that he had taken the afd. James Smith
whose body here at this day he had ready to Answer the afd. Elijah Mathews of the afd. plea as to him it
was Commanded
           Whereupon the Said James Smith at the prayer of the afd. Elijah
Mathews is Adjudged to give Special Bail to the Action afd. Thereupon a Certain Robert Jenkins
Henry Gent. present here in Court in his proper person undertook for the Said James Smith that if
