Att which day here came as well the afsd: John Scarborough as the afsd George Buchanan and
William Hamilton by their Attorneys afsd: and hereupon the afsd: George & William as before defend
the force & Injury when &c and say that they did not assume upon themselves in manner & form
as the afsd: John Scarborough above against them hath complained and Of this they put themselves
upon the Country &c And the plaintiff in like Manner
Thereupon it is commanded the sheriffe of Somerset County that he should cause to come before his
Lordships Justices at the Next Court to be held at princess Ann Town the third tuesday of March then
next following Twelve &c by whom &c and who neither &c to Recognize &c because &c and the same day
is given to the parties afd. here &c       Att which day here came as well the afsd: John Scarborough
as the afsd: George Buchanan & William Hamilton by their Attorneys afsd: and the afsd George and
William Suggest to the court here that they have a Material Witness in this cause who is now
beyond the Seas without whom they cannot safely Come to tryall & the afsd Sheriff did not send thereof the
writt &c            Therefore as before it is commanded the sheriff of Somerset County that he
should cause to Come before his Lordships Justices at the Next Court to be held at princess Ann Town
the third tuesday of June then next following Twelve &c by whom &c and who neither &c to Recog
in form afd
-nize ^ &c because &c and the same day is given to the parties afsd: here &c

Therefore as before it is commanded the sheriff of Somerset County that he should cause to Come before his
Lordships Justices at the Next Court to be held at princess Ann Town the third tuesday of August then next follow
-ing Twelve &c by whom &c & who neither &c to Recognize in form afd: &c because &c & the same day is given to the parties afsd: here &c
