at his request by the court now here of the assent of the parties afd adjudged which certain damages in
the whole amount to four pounds ten shillings Curt: Money &

@    Command was given unto the sheriff of Somerset County that he should take
GH    Wm. Hasten Solon    William Hasten Late of Somerset County planter Solomon Hasten Late of Somerset

Hasten & Moses Creemain    County planter & Moses Cremean Late of Somerset County planter otherwise called I
William Hasten & Solomon Hasten & Moses Creemen planters of somerset County of province of Maryland if
they should be found in his bailywick and them should safe keep so that he mighty have their bodies
before the Justices of his Lordship County Court of Somerset to be held at Princess Ann Town the third tuesday
of June Anno Dom: one thousand seven hundred & sixty three to answer unto Outerbridge Horsey of a
plea that they render him the sum of fourteen pounds ten shillings & ten pence which to him they owe and
unjustly detain and So Forth and the same day is given to the afd Outerbridge here &c
And hereupon the afd Outerbridge Horsey declared against the afsd William Hasten Solomon Hasten & Moses
Creemain in the plea afd in form following              Somerset fst William Hasten Late of Somerset
County planter Solomon Hasten Late of Somerset County planter and Moses Cremean Late of Somerset
County planter otherwise called I William Hasten and Solomon Hasten and Moses Creemen planters of
Somerset County of province of Maryland were sumoned to answer unto Outerbridge Horsey of a plea that they
render him the sum of fourteen pounds ten shillings and ten pence which to him they owe and unjustly
detain &c              And Whereupon the said Outerbridge Horsey by Litt. Dennis his Atty says that whereas
the said William Solomon & Moses the First day of June Anno Dom. MDCCLXII at the county afd by their
certain Bill obligatory which the said Outerbridge sealed with the seals of the said William Solomon &
Moses here in court produced Whose date is the day and year afd promise & obliged themselves to pay
unto the said Outerbridge the Sum of Seven pounds ten shillings and ten pence with Lawfull Interest
on or before the first day of December next ensuing the date of the said Bill and to the faithfull payment
thereof to be made and done by the time afd they the said William Solomon & Moses bound themselves in the
penal sum of fourteen pounds ten shillings and ten pence firmly by the said Bill and the said Outerbridge
in fact says that the said William Solomon & Moses did not pay unto the said Outerbridge the afd.
sum of seven pounds ten shillings and ten pence with the lawfull Interest thereon on or before the
said first day of December next ensuing the date of the said Bill according to the form force and effect
of the said Bill by which action hath accrued to the said Outerbridge to require and have of the said
William, Solomon, & Moses the said fourteen pounds ten shillings and ten pence to be paid unto
the said Outerbridge when they the said William, Solomon, & Moses should be thereto after
-wards required Nevertheless the said William, Solomon, & Moses the said sum of four
-teen pounds ten shillings and ten pence to the said Outerbridge they have not rendered or
hath either of them rendered but the same to him to render they and each of them have Refused
and still do Refuse and unjustly detain altho the same to do afterwards to wit the tenth day
of December in the year afd at the county afd. and often since by the said Outerbridge requi
-red to the damage of the said Outerbridge twenty pounds Current money and thereof he brings
Suit &c:                                     pledges &c. J Doe R Roe
Att which day here came the afd Outerbridge Horsey by Littleton Dennis his Attorney and the
sheriff to witt Ephraim Wilson now here returned that he had taken the afd. Wm Hasten Solomon
Hasten & Moses Creeman whose bodies here at this day he had ready to answer the afd. Outer
-bridge Horsey of the plea afd as to him it was commanded and further the same sheriffe returned
that he had served the afd William, Solomon, & Moses with a copy of the foregoing declaration according
to act of assembly in such case provided &c                 Hereupon at the prayer of the afd. Outerbridge
Horsey the afsd William Solomon & Moses are adjudged to give Special to the action afd
