Safe keep So that he might have his body before the Justices of his Lordships County court of Somerset
To be held at princess Ann Town the third tuesday of November Anno Dom. one thousand seven hundred
& Sixty To answer unto Teague Riggen of Parrahawkin of a plea wherefore with force and Arms he y^e said
John at the county af^d the close of the said Teague called Middle plantation did break & Enter and two
Hundred panels of Fence thereon Erected of the Value of twenty pounds current Money of Maryland then
& there did break down & the Fence Loggs thereon did take & Carry away & the Soil and Grass of the close
af^d did break up & [tread] down & other Harms To him the said Teague then & there did to the great damage of the
said Teague & against the peace of his Lordship the Lord prop^ry that now is &^c and the same day is
given to the af^d Teague Riggen here also &^c
Att which Day here came the af^d Teague Riggen by W^m. Hayward his Attorney & the sheriff to witt
John Dennis now here returned that he had Taken the af^d John Harris whose body here at this day he
had ready to answer the af^d Teague Riggen of the af^d plea as to him it was commanded &^c
Whereupon the said John Harris puts in his place Littleton Dennis Gen^t Attorney at Law against the af^d Teague
Riggen of the af^d plea            Whereupon at the prayer of the parties day is to them now here given

untill next Court To be held at princess Ann Town the third tuesday of March ^ Next following in the State that
now saveing to the parties af^d              Att which day here came as well the af^d Teague Riggen
as the af^d John Harris by their Attorneys af^d and hereupon the af^d Teague Riggen complained against
the af^d John Harris in the plea af^d in Form following                                                      of Parrahawkin
Somerset fs^t John Harris Late of Somerset planter was attached to answer unto Teague Riggen ^ of a plea of
wherefore with force and arms he the said John at the county af^d the close of the said Teague called middle
plantation did break & Enter and two hundred Pannell of Fence thereon Erected of the Value of Twenty
pounds Current Money of Maryland then & there did break down and the Fence Loggs thereon did take

And Whereupon the said Teague by William Hayward his Attorney Says that whereas the said John
the         Day of         Anno Dom:            at the county af^d the close of him the said Teague called
Middle plantation with force and Arms did break and Enter and Two hundred pannell of Fence thereon
Erected of the Value of twenty pounds Curr^t Money of Maryland then & there did break down and the Fence
Logs thereon did take & Carry away and the Soil & Grass of the Close af^d did break up & tread down &
other Harms To the said Teague then & there did To the great Damage of the said Teage and against the
peace of his Lordship the Lord prop^ry that now Is &^c Whereupon the said Teague Says he is worse & hath
damage to the value of twenty pounds Cur^t Money of Maryland & thereof he brings Suit &^c    pledges &^c    J Doe
