Richard Charles craft
          bound to    Richard Charles craft an orphan of his own free Consent is bound out by the court here an
John Twilly    apprentice according to act of assembly in Such Case provided unto John Twilly of So
-merset County untill he the said Richard Charles Craft should arrive at the age of twenty one Years
the said Richard to serve his said Master the full Term afd. During which Term the said apprentice his said
Master well and faithfully he shall serve his Secrets keep his Commandments Lawfully and honestly
every where willingly he shall doe and in all things as a good and faithfull apprentice he shall demean
himself towards his said Master and all his during the term afd.
      In Consideration of which Service the said John Twilly present here in Court in his proper per
-son Covenanteth with the Justices of the same Court in Court Judicially Sitting in manner and form
following that is to say that he the said John Twilly shall and will during the Term afd. Learn his
said apprentice the trade of a Bricklayer and to read well in the Bible and at the expiration of his
Servitude give him a new Suit of Cloaths of Broad Cloth or Kersey over and above his Common Wear
-ing Cloaths and likewise find and provide for his said apprentice meat drink washing lodging and
cloathing Sufficient for such an apprentice to have and wear during the Term afd.
      Whereupon the said John Twilly is ordered to give security to Comply with the Covenants afd. There
-upon the said John Twilly together with Benjamin Venables and Joseph Venables of Somerset county
planters his Security's all present here in Court in their proper persons acknowledged themselves In
-debted unto the afd. Richard Charles Craft in thirty pounds Curt Money of Maryland on their bodies goods
or Chattles Lands and Tenements joyntly and severally to the use of the said Richard Charles Craft his
heirs & assigns to be made and levied if it happen that the said John Twilly do not during the Term afd. Learn his
Said apprentice the trade of a Bricklayer and to Read well in the Bible and at the expiration of his Servi-
-tude do not give him a new Suit of Cloaths of Broad Cloth or Kersey over and above his common wearing cloaths
and do not likewise find and provide for his said apprentice meat drink washing Lodging & cloathing
Sufficient for such an apprentice to have and wear during the Term afd.

George Fowler
   bound to    George Fowler an orphan of his own Free consent is bound out by the court here an appren-

County untill he the said George Fowler should arrive at the age of twenty one Years the said George
to serve his said Master the full Term afd. during which Term the said apprentice his said Master well and
faithfully he shall Serve his Secrets Keep his Commandments Lawfully and honestly every where willing
-ly he shall doe and in all things as a good and faithfull apprentice he shall demean himself towards
his said Master and all his during the Term afd.                 In Consideration of which Service
the said Walter Smith present here in Court in his proper person Covenanteth with the Justices of the
same Court in Court Judicially Sitting in manner and form following that is to say that he the said Walter
Smith shall and will during the Term afd. Learn his said apprentice the trade of a Taylor and to read write and Cypher
as far as the Rule of three Inclusive and at the expiration of his servitude give him a new Suit of Cloaths of Ker
-sey or Broad cloth over and above his Common Wearing Cloaths and likewise find and provide for his said appren
-tice meat drink washing Lodging and Cloathing Sufficient for such an apprentice to have and wear during
the term afd.                      Whereupon the said Walter Smith is ordered to give Security to Comply
with the covenants afd. Thereupon the said Walter Smith togetherher with Thomas Holbrook & Charles Ballard
of Somerset County planters his securities all present here in court in their proper persons acknowledged them
selves Indebted unto the afd. George Fowler in thirty pounds Curt Money of Maryland on their bodys Goods
or Chattles Lands and Tenements Joyntly and severally to the use of the said George Fowler his heirs &
assigns to be made and levied if it happen that the said Walter Smith do not during the Term afd. lear his said
apprentice the trade of a Taylor & to Read write and cypher as far as the Rule of three Inclusive and at the
Expiration of his Servitude do not give him a new Suit of Cloaths of Kersey or Broadcloth over above
his Common Wearing Cloaths and do not likewise find and provide for his said Apprentice Meat drink
washing lodging and Cloathing Sufficient for such an apprentice to have and wear during the Term afd.
