Petitioner in his Proper Person and thereupon the Petition afd. being Read and heard and fully understood it is Considered by the Court here that the afd. Negro Woman named Rose be for the future tax free &c
of them are old and Infirm Your Petitioner Begs that your Worships will Grant a Commission to perpetuate the bound thereof and Your petitioner as in duty bound Shall pray &c. Constant Disharoon Whereupon Came here into Court the afd. Petitioner in his Proper Person and thereupon the petition afd. being Read and heard and fully understood it is Considered by the Court here that a Commission Issue to the afd. Constant Disharoon as by the Petition afd. is praid and that Louther Dashiell, Thomas Dashiell, John Caldwell & Wm. Venables be Commissioners and Execute the Same Commission According to Act of Assembly in Such Case Provided &c.
and faithfully she Shall Serve his Secrets keep his Commandments Lawfully and honestly Every where Willingly she Shall doe and in all things as a good and faithfull Apprentice she Shall demean herself towards her Said Master and all his during the term afd. In Consideration of which Service the Said James Hayman present herein Court in his Proper Person Covenanteth with the Justices of the Same Court in Court Judicially Sitting in Manner and form following that is to Say that he the Said James Hayman Shall and will during the term afd. Learn his Said Apprentice the trade of a Weaver and to Knit Sew and Spin and to Read well in the Bible and at the Expiration of her Servitude Give her a New Suit of Cloaths of Linsey woolsey Over and Above her Common wearing Cloaths and Likewise find and Provide for his Said Apprentice Meat drink Washing Lodging and Cloathing Sufficient for Such an Apprentice to have and Wear during the term afd. Whereupon the said James Hayman is ordered to give Security to Comply with the Covenants afd. James Hayman Senr. Thereupon the Said James Hayman together with Isaac Hayman & ^ of Somerset County planters all present herein Court in their Proper Persons Acknowledged themselves Indebted unto the afd. Elizth. Bowland in thirty Pounds Current Money of Maryland on their bodys Goods or Chattles Lands and tenements Joyntly and Severally to the use of the Said Eliza. Bowland her heirs and Assigns to be made and Levied if it happen that the Said James Hayman do not during the term afd.
