      By virtue of the foregoing warrant & account proven was Issued the following Attachment
Somerset fst Frederick absolute Lord & Propry of ye provinces of Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron of Bal
-temore &c to ye sheriff of somerset county greeting we command you that you attach any the goods Chattles
and credits of Daniel Clark late of somerset county planter if they shall be found in Your Bailywick to
ye Value of seven pounds one shilling and four pence Current money & five hundred pounds of Tobacco
& when you have ye same Attached or any part thereof ye same in your custody safe keep so that you
have ye same before our Justices of our county court of somerset to be held at princess Ann Town the
third tuesday of November Next then and there to be condemned according to act of assembly to & for ye
use of a certain Aaron Sterling unless ye said Daniel Clark by himself or his Attorney shall appear &
answer unto ye said Aaron in a plea of Trespass upon the case &c. according to Law and that by good & law-
full men of your Bailywick you make known unto ye person or persons in whose hands you make ye
same attachment that he she or they be and appear before our Justices of our county court of somerset to
be held as afd. to shew cause if any he she or they have why ye same goods Chattles & Credits so attached in his
her or their hands Ought not to be condemned & Execution thereof had made according to act of assembly in such
case made and provided if to him her or them it shall seem meet and how you shall Execute this writt that
you make known unto our said Justices at ye day and place afd. and have you then and there this writt
Witness Sampson Wheatly Esqr one of our Justices of our said court ye 16th Day of Augt in ye 12th Year of
our Dominion &c Anno Dom. 1762                     p;               Thomas Hayward Junr Clk
      Issued Augt 19th 1762
At which said third tuesday of November and year afd. came the afd. Aaron Sterling in his proper person and
the sheriff to Wit Ephraim Wilson returned the afd. writt of attachment Endorsed in manner following Vizt
Somerset fst By Virtue of the within writt to me directed I hereby certify the Justices therein named that I have
attached of the goods and Chattels of the within Daniel Clark to the amount of seven pounds five shillings
and six pence half penny Current money as appears by the schedule hereto annexed which I have here
ready for the purposes in the said Writt and also that I have attached severally in the hands of William
Miles Annemessex George Sumners and John Sumners to the amount of the sums in the said Writt and before
George Wilson and John Doe good and lawful men of my Bailywick made known to the said Miles George
Sumners and William Sumners that they be and appear at the time in the said Writt named for the pur
poses therein mentioned       So answers Ep Wilson Shf
A Schedule of Goods and Chattles belonging to Daniel Clark Attached for the use of Aaron Sterling as follows Vizt
