Allen and Dennis here &c Att which day here came the afd. Allen & Dennis by Josiah Polk their Attorney and the sheriff to witt Ephraim Wilson now here returned that he had taken the afd. Southy Wheeler whose body here at this day he had ready to answer the afd. Allen & Dennis of the afd. plea Whereupon the afd. Southy Wheeler at the prayer of the afd. Allen & Dennis is adjudged to give special Bail to the action afd. Thereupon a certain William Adams present here in court in his proper person undertook for the said Southy Wheeler and assumed upon him self that if it should happen that Judgement in the Plea afd. should be rendered for the said Allen & Dennis against the afd. Southy Wheeler Southy or that the afd. Southy should be therein Convict that then he the said ^ should pay and satisfy unto the afd. Allen & Dennis the Judgement of the court thereupon or render his Body in Execution of such Judgement to the prison of the sheriff of somerset county in satisfaction thereof or that he the said |
