pounds Ten Shillings Current Money of Maryland to be paid to the Said Nicholas when afterwards he
Should be thereto Required Yet the Said John tho often thereto Since at the County afd. thereto Required hath not
Rendred to the Said Nicholas the Said Sum of fifty Six pounds Ten Shillings Currency or the Said Sum of fifty
Six pounds Ten Shillings Curt Money of Maryland but the Same to Either of them to him to Render hitherto
hath denyed and Still doth deny and from him Unjustly detain to the damage of the Said Nicholas in the
Sum of fifty Six pounds Ten Shillings Curt Money of Maryland and therefore he brings Suit and So forth

And the afd. John Tyler by his Attorney afd. Comes and defends the force and Injury when &c. And prays
Leave thereof to Imparle here untill next Court to be held at Princes Ann Town the third Tuesday of August
then next following and he hath it and the Same day is Given to the afd. Nicholas here also &c
           Att which day here Came as well the afd. Nicholas McCubbin as the afd. John Tyler by their
Attorneys afd. And hereupon the Said John as before defends the force and Injury when &c And Saith that
he Cannot deny the Action afd. of the afd. Nicholas but that the Writing Obligatory afd. is the deed of
him the Said John nor but that he Owes the afd. Nicholas the afd. fifty Six pounds ten Shillings Curt Money of
Maryland in Manner and form as the afd. Nicholas Above Against him hath declared
           Therefore it is Considered that the afd. Nicholas McCubbin Recover Against the afd.
John Tyler his Debt afd. and his Damages by Occasion of the detention of that Same debt to
333                                     Pounds of tobacco to the Same Nicholas of his Assent by the Court here
Adjudged And the afd. John in Mercy &c

WH    Messrs Gale & Ponsonby    Command was Given to the Sheriff of Somerset County that he Should take

@    William Outerbridge (of Nanticoke) Late of Somerset County House Carpinter if he
SW    Wm. Outerbridge    Should be found in his Bailywick and him Should Safe keep so that he might have his body
before the Justices of his Lordships County Court of Somerset to be held at Princes Ann Town the third Tuesday
of March Anno Dom. one thousand Seven hundred and Sixty Two to Answer unto John Gale and John
Ponsonby of A plea of trespass upon the Case and So forth       And the Same day is Given to the afd. Gale &
Ponsonby here &c.    Att which day here Came the afd. John Gale and John Ponsonby by their Attorneys afd.
And hereupon the Sheriff to witt John Dennis Gent now here Returned that he had taken the afd. William
Outerbridge whose body here at this day he had Ready to Answer the afd. John Gale and John Ponsonby of the
afd. plea as to him it was Commanded    Whereupon the Said Wm. Outerbridge at the prayer of the afd.
John Gale and John Ponsonby is Adjudged to Give Special bail to the Action afd. Thereupon a Certain Ephraim
King of Somerset County Gent present here in Court in his proper person undertook for the Said William
Outerbridge and Assumed upon himself that if it Should happen that Judgment in the plea afd. Should
be Rendred for the Said Gale and Ponsonby Against the afd. William Outerbridge or that he the Said
William Outerbridge Should be therein Convict that then he the Said William Should pay and Satisfie
unto the afd. Gale and Ponsonby the Judgment of the Court thereupon or Render his body in Execution of Such
Judgment to the Prison of the Sheriff of the County afd. in Satisfaction thereof or that he the Said Eph King
will do the Same for him &c    Whereupon the Said William Outerbridge puts in his place Samuel Wilson
Gent Attorney at Law Against the afd. Gale and Ponsonby of the afd. plea
           And thereupon at the prayer of the parties afd. day is to them now here Given untill next
Court to be held at Princes Ann Town the third Tuesday of June then next following in the State
that now Saveing to the parties afd.    Att which day here Came the parties afd. by their Attorneys afd.
And hereupon Ephraim King Special Bail of the afd. Wm. Outerbridge Came here into Court in his proper person
And prays that for his Indemnity he may be discharged of and from his Manucaption and the Bail piece
Entred into for the Said William Whereupon the Said Ephraim King of his Manucaption and bail piece
afd. is discharged and the Said Wm. Outerbridge is Committed into the Custody of the Sheriff of the
County afd. there to Remain &c    And hereupon the Said Gale and Ponsonby Complained Against the afd.
