(152) Somerset fst Att a court of his Lordship the Right Honrble Frederick Absolute Lord and Propry of the Provinces of Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &c. held at Princes Ann Town the third Tuesday of August being the Seventeenth day of the Same Month Anno Dom. 1762 by his Said Lordships Justices the peace in the Same County to keep Assigned of Whom were present
during which term the Said Apprentice his Said Master well and faithfully he Shall Serve his Secrets keep his Commandments Lawfully and honestly Every where willingly he Shall doe and in all things as a good and faithfull Apprentice he Shall demean himself towards his Said Master and all his during the term afd. In Consideration of Which Service the Said John Disharoon present here in Court in his Proper Person Covenanteth with the Justices of the Same Court in Court Judicially Sitting in Manner and form following that is to Say that he the Said John Richardson Shall and will during the term afd. Learn his Said Apprentice the trade of a house Joyner and to Read Write and Cypher as far as the Rule of three Inclusive and at the Expiration of his Servitude Give him a New Suit of Cloaths of Narrow Broad Cloath Over and Above his Common wearing Cloaths and Likewise find And Provide for his Said Apprentice Meat drink washing Lodging and Cloathing Sufficient for Such An Apprentice to have and wear during the term afd. Whereupon the Said John Richardson is Ordered to Give Security to Comply with the Covenants afd. Thereupon the Said John Richardson together with Robert Hopkins and Jacob Thorns of Somerset County Planters his Securitys all present herein Court in their Proper persons Acknowledged themselves Indebted unto the afd. Jesse Disharoon in thirty pounds Curt Money of Maryland on their bodys Goods or Chattles Lands and tenements Joyntly and Severally to the use of the Said John Richardson his heirs and Assigns to be made and Levied if it happen that the Said John Richardson do not during the term afd. humbly prays your Worships to Grant him a Commission and Appoint Commissioners in Order to perpetuate the Bounds of the afd. tract of Land or of Any other Land on which they may depend And Your petitioner as in duty bound will pray Alexr. Thomas Russell Whereupon Came here into Court the afd. Petitioner in his Proper Person and thereupon the petition afd. being Read and heard and fully understood it is Considered by the Court here that a Commission Issue to the afd. Alexr. Thomas Russell as by the petition afd. is praid And that Ephraim King, Thos. Irving, Mathew Cannon and George Handy |
