Stephen Mitchell    Stephen Mitchell an Orphan of his Own free Consent is bound out by the Court here an
   Bound to    Apprentice According to Act of Assembly in Such Case provided unto William Roberson of
Wm. Roberson    Somerset County untill he the Said Stephen Mitchell Should Arrive at the Age of Twenty One
Years the Said Stephen Mitchell to Serve his Said Master well and faithfully Shall, his Secrets keep, his Commandments
Lawfully and honestly Every where willingly he shall Doe and in all things as a good and faithfull Apprentice he
Shall demean himself towards his Said Master and all his during the term afd.
           In Consideration of Which Service the Said William Roberson present here in Court in his
proper person Covenanteth with the Justices of the Same Court in Court Judicially Sitting in Manner and
form following that is to Say that he the Said William Roberson Shall and will during the term afd.
Learn his Said Apprentice the trade of a Cordwainer and to Read write and Cypher as far as the Rule of three
Inclusive and at the Expiration of his Servitude Give him a New Suit of Cloaths of Narrow Broad Cloath over and
Above his Common Wearing Cloaths and Likewise find and provide for his Said Apprentice meat drink
washing Lodging and Cloathing Sufficient for Such an Apprentice to have and wear during the term afd.
   Whereupn the Said William Roberson is Ordered to Give Security to Comply with the Covenants afd. thereupon
the Said William Roberson together with George Sharpe and Lane Roberson of Somerset County planters his
Securitys all Present here in Court in their Proper Persons Acknowledged themselves Indebted unto the afd. Stephen
Mitchell in Twenty Pounds Curt Money of Maryland on their bodys Goods or Chattles Lands and tenements
Joyntly and Severally to the use of the Said Stephen Mitchell his heirs and Assigns to be made and Levied if
it happen that the the Said William Roberson do not during the term afd. Learn his Said Apprentice the trade
of a Cordwainer and to Read Write and Cypher as far as the Rule of three Inclusive and at the Expiration of his

Servitude do not Give him a New Suit of Cloaths ^ Over and Above his Common wearing Cloaths and Likewise find

Stephen Lank Appd.    Stephen Lank of Somerset County planter present here in Court in his proper person of his own
Guardian to    free Consent is Appointed by the Court here as Guardian to a Cannon Lank his Son an Infant
Cannon Lank    under the Age of fourteen Years untill he the Said Cannon Should Arrive at full Age by Law for
the Chooseing of his Guardian &c. Whereupon the Said Guardian is Ordered to take into his Care and Possession
All the Estate of the afd. Orphan And it is further Ordered that a Certain Rachell Hitch and Francis Lank
Exrs. of Francis Lank decd. deliver up unto the afd. Stephen Lank Guardian afd. all the Estate personall that they have
in their hands and Possession and that of Right doth belong unto the afd. Cannon Lank Orphan afd. and that the Said
Guardian Give Good Security to Comply with the Law in Relation to Such Guardianship as afd. and to deliver up unto the
afd. Cannon Lank his heirs Exrs. or Admrs. or Guardian or Guardians hereafter to be Appointed or Chosen all the Estate
of the afd. Cannon Lank that he Shall take into his hands and possession peaceably and Quietly when Ever the Same
Should be Legally Required    Thereupon the Said Stephen Lank with Wm. Bird his Security both present here in
Court in their Proper Persons Acknowledged themselves Indebted unto the afd. Cannon Lank in One hundred and
fifty Pounds Curt Money of Maryland of their bodys Goods or Chattles Lands and tenements Joyntly and
Severally to the use of the Said Cannon Lank his heirs Exrs. Admrs. or Assigns to be made and Levied if it happen
that the Said Stephen Winright Lank Guardian as afd. his heirs Exrs. or Admrs. do not Comply with the Law in the
Relation to Such Guardianship as afd. and do not deliver up unto the afd. Cannon Lank All his heirs Exrs. Admrs. or
Guardian or Guardians hereafter to be Appointed or Chose all the Estate personall that he Shall take into
his hands and Possession of the afd. Cannon Lank peaceably & Quietly when Ever the Same Shall be Legally
Required &c

Wm. Waters    The petition of Wm. Waters Senr. to the Worshipfull Justices of Somerset County now in Court Sitting
   Petn    Sheweth that Whereas Your Petitioner hath a tract of Land Called Waters's River whose bounds is
decayed therefore Your Petitioner prays that Your Worships Will Grant a Commission and Appoint Commissioners to
Examine Evidences in Relation to the Bounds of the afd. tract of Land or Any other Land on which the Bounds of the afd.
Land may depend and Your Petitioner in duty bound Shall Ever pray                                Wm. Waters Senr.
   Whereupon Came here into Court the afd. Petitioner in his Proper Person and thereupon the Petition afd. being Read
and heard and fully understood it is Considered by the Court here that a Commission Issue to the afd. William Waters as
