SW    James Hutchings    His Lordship the Right Honrble the Lord Propry directed his Lordship Writt Close in those words

@    Vizt    Somerset fst Frederick Absolute Lord and Propry of the Provinces of Maryland &
LD    Natl Whitaker    Avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &c. to the Sheriff of Somerset County Greeting whereas James
Hutchings Lately before Isaac Handy Esqr. and others his Associates Justices of our County Court of Somerset in Court
Judicially Sitting Recovered Against Nathaniel Whitaker Late of Somerset County Clerk Six pound Sixteen Shillings
Curt Money debt as also Two hundred and Nine pounds of Tobacco for his Damages which he Sustained as well by
Occasion of the detention of that Debt as for his Costs and Charges by him Expended About his Suit whereof he is
Convict as by the Record to us Appears and Now in behalf of the Said James Hutchings in our Court before us we
have understood that altho Judgment thereof is Given Execution Nevertheless of the Judgment afd. Yet Remains to
be made to him whereof the Said James hath Besought us to Grant him his proper Remedy in this behalf and
being Willing that what is Just in this behalf Should be done Command You by Good and Lawfull men of Your Bailywick
you Give notice to the Said Natl. Whitaker that he be and Appear before our Justices of our County Court of Somerset to
be held at Princes Ann Town the third Tuesday of March Next to Shew Cause if he hath or Can Say Any thing for
himself why the Said James Ought not to have Execution for the Sum of Money and Tobacco afd. Against him the
afd. Nathaniel According to the force form and Effect of the Recovery afd. if he Shall think fit and further to do and Receive
what our Same Court Shall then and there Consider of Concerning him in this behalf and have you then and there the
Names of those by Whom to him you Shall Give notice and this Writt Witness    Isaac Handy Esqr one of our Justices
of our Said Court the 22d day of Novr. Anno Dom 1760

           Att which day here Came the afd. James Hutchings by Saml. Wilson his ^ Comes and defends the force and Injury
when &c and the Sheriff to witt John Dennis Gent now here Returned that he had taken the afd. by Virtue of the Writt
afd. made known unto the afd. Nathaniel Whitaker by John Sandford and John Doe Good and Lawfull men of
his Bailywick that he be and Appear before the Justices within mentioned on the day and place within mentioned
to Shew Cause as within to him it is Commanded
           And the afd. Nathaniel Whitaker by Littleton Dennis his Attorney Comes and prays Leave thereof
to Imparle here untill next Court to be held at Princes Ann Town the third Tuesday of June then next following
and he hath it And the Same day is Given to the afd. James here also &c.
           Att which day here Came as well the afd. James Hutchings as the afd. Nathaniel Whitaker by
their Attorneys afd. And hereupon the Said Nathaniel Whitaker prays further Leave thereof to Imparle here
untill next Court to be held at Princes Ann Town the third Tuesday of August then next following and he
hath it and the Same day is Given to the afd. James here also &c
           Att which day here Came as well the afd. James Hutchings as the afd. Nathaniel Whitaker
by their Attorneys afd. And hereupon the Said Nathaniel Saith that he Cannot deny but that the afd. James
                                                                                                                                        Scire facias afd.
Hutchings Ought to have Execution Against him the Said Nathaniel According to the tenor of the ^ Recognizance
   Therefore it is Considered that the afd. James Hutchings have Execution Against the afd. Nathaniel Whitaker
for the Debt and Damages afd. in the Scire facias afd. Mentioned &c. And also it is Considered that the afd. James
180    Hutchings Recover Against the afd. Nathaniel Whitaker
Pounds of Tobacco for his Costs and Charges Sustained by means of the delay of Execution of the Judgment afd. and
that the afd. James have thereof Execution &c

Lately in the County Court of Somerset before Thomas Hayward Esqr and others his Associates Justices of the County Court
afd. Recovered Against a Certain Signey Brown the Sum of Five Pounds Curt Money and Twelve hundred and Ninty Five
pounds of Tobacco as also Two hundred and Two pounds of Tobacco Costs whereof the Said Signey is Convict as by the Record
to us Appears and Now in behalf of the Said John and James in our Court before us we have understood that altho Judgment
thereof is Given Execution Nevertheless of the Judgment afd. Yet Remains to be made to them whereof the Said
