LAWS OF MARYLAND

Repeal

Sec 3 And be it enacted That the act of Assembly,
passed December session, eighteen hundred and sixteen,
chapter two hundred and ten, relating to renting or hiring
stoves, be, and the same is hereby repealed

CHAPTER 181

Passed Mar 10, 1835

A supplement to an act, entitled, an act appointing commis-
sioners to build a bridge over the Little Falls of Gunpow-
der, in Harford and Baltimore Counties, passed at Decem
ber session, eighteen hundred and thirty one, chapter one
hundred and one.

Preamble.

WHEREAS, under the authority and requisitions of the
act to which this is a supplement a good and substantial
bridge has been erected across the Little Falls, of Gunpow-
der, at the Rock Ford and whereas it is represented by pe-
tition to this General Assembly, that said bridge is and will
continue to be utterly useless unless a road shall be con-
structed leading thereto, and further, that although the said
bridge has been constructed for more than two years, yet no
levy has been made by the commissioners of either of the
counties interested therein, to open the necessary road, and
the citizens of said counties have been consequently serious
ly inconvenienced and the object of the said original act
utterly defeated, for remedy whereof, Therefore

Commissioners to

lay out &c.

Section 1 Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary
land, That John Hillen Jenkins and Samuel Watkins, of
Baltimore county, and Mahlon H West, of Harford county,
be, and they are hereby appointed commissioners to lay out
and open a road to the said bridge, from some convenient
point on the county road which runs near the said bridge,
and superintend the opening and making of the same, and
after the said road is completed, the commissioners hereby
appointed shall transmit to the commissioners of Baltimore
and Harford counties a plat of the same, with the amount to
be paid by the said counties respectively, which amount shall
be apportioned by said commissions, between the said
counties, agreeably to the expenses incurred in each
