A supplement to the act, entitled, an act to regulate the pro-
ceedings in Baltimore County Court,
|
Passed Feb 25, 1835
|

Section 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Ma-
ryland, That Baltimore County Court, at any term of said
court held for Baltimore county, out of the limits of the city
of Baltimore, be and is hereby authorised, if the same shall
seem proper to the court, to assign and appropriate such por-
tion or portions of the term for the transaction of the crimi-
nal business of the court, as may appear to it most condu-
cive to the public convenience

Sec 5 And be it enacted, That the first section of the act
to which this is a supplement, be and the same is hereby re-
pealed, and that the second section of the said act be, and
the same is hereby declared to be in force only until the
first Monday of April next, and thenceforth to stand re-
pealed.

An act for the relief of Elizabeth Denison and Robert Miller
Denison
|
Passed Feb. 21, 1835
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Elizabeth Denison and Robert Miller Deni-
son, of the city of Baltimore, have represented that Robert
Miller, late of said city, deceased, gave to said Elizabeth
and Robert Miller Denison, certain negroes in the State of
Virginia, as part of his property in the firm of Arthur &
Miller, and afterwards confirmed the said gift by his last
will and testament, and it is doubtful whether, by virtue of
the act, passed at December session of the year eighteen
hundred and thirty three, chapter eighty seven, the said
Elizabeth and Robert Miller Denison may introduce into
this State any of the said negroes, and whereas, said per
sons have asked leave to introduce five of said negroes, —

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
it shall and may be lawful for said Elizabeth Denison and
Robert Miller Denison to introduce into this State any five
of the said negroes, to every effect, as if the right to do so
were given by said act, and upon the terms and conditions
|
