                        A LIST OF RESOLUTIONS.

Assented to by the General Assembly of Maryland, at the

                December Session Anno Domini
1829.

    No. 1.  A resolution providing for the payment of the
members and officers of the present General Assembly;
    2.  A resolution in favor of George G. Brewer, late assistant
clerk to the House of Delegates;
    3.  A resolution providing a compensation for the services
of James Dixon, esquire, of Frederick county, in the prosecution
of George Swearingen, for the murder of his wife;
    4.  A resolution in favor of the legal representatives of
Jane Parran, deceased;
    5.  A resolution in favor of Cephas W. Benson;
    6.  A resolution with its preamble, in favor of Isaac Covington,
Robert Mitchell and Henry Franklin, junior, of
Worcester county, releasing them from their obligation in
regard to the return of certain rifles belonging to the state,
that were accidentally destroyed by fire;
    7.  A resolution providing for the payment to John McNeill,
junior, and Philip B. Travilla, their per diem allowance,
for attendance at the seat of government, as delegates
elect, for the counties of Allegany and Kent, previously to
their admission to take seats as members in the House of
Delegates, agreeably to its decisions;
    8.  A resolution providing for the discharge from imprisonment
in the gaol of Frederick county, of Jacob Hoffman
junior;
    9.  Resolutions expressive of the sense of the Legislature
of the gallant conduct, during the late war, of David Geisinger,
a native of this state, and a captain in the United
States' Navy, and directing a sword to be presented to
him;
    10.  Resolutions expressive of the sense of the Legislature
of the gallant conduct, during the late war, of John Contee,
a native of this state, and formerly a lieutenant in the
