RAIL ROAD

RAPPAHANNOCK
said court, but not to be allowed milage
for returning to his residence during the
time he shall attend said court,
    Relating to public roads in; requiring
overseers of, to cut such openings in
banks erected on the sides of roads as
may be necessary for the water to pass
off of the road, and imposing a penalty
for suffering the water to lay on the
road for want thereof
    To provide for the support of schools
in Queen-Anne's county, and to withdraw
the funds from the Centrevill Academy;
directing the school fund of,
instead of being equally divided amongst
primary school districts, should be placed
under the direction of the school commissioners,
to be applied to the education
of youth in the different schools of
county, providing however, that each
primary school should be allowed a sum
equal to the highest sum allowed to any
other school,
    The sum heretofore paid annually by
the treasurer of the Western Shore, to
the Centreville Academy, hereafter to
be paid to the commissioners of schools
of, and applied as above
    Further dividends of the tax on banks
&c. also to be paid and applied as above,
    In erecting or repairing a school
house in any primary school district of,
according to act of 1825, chapter 162,
the tax therefor shall be levied on all
taxable property of said district wheather
belonging to residents or non residents,
    For the relief of sundry poor persons
in; authorising levy on, for their use,
