tax, by license or otherwise, upon all property, estate
and funds, in which the capital stock of the said company,
hereby incorporated, shall be invested, in common with similar
property, estate or funds, of any other company, corporation
or individuals of this state.
  CHAP. 42.  
    Sec. 12.  And be it enacted, That this act shall be and continue
in force until the first day of January, in the year eighteen
hundred and sixty, and until the end of the next session
of Assembly thereafter.
Limitation of charter.

                                        CHAPTER 43.

An act to regulate the meetings of the Orphans' Court of Anne
                                      Arundel County.



Passed Feb. 2, 1830.
    Section 1.  Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the regular terms of the Orphans Court of Anne Arundel
County, shall be held on the second Tuesday in every
month of February, April, June, August, October and December;
and that the said Court shall by its own adjournment,
if necessary for the despatch of business, be held on the second
Tuesday in every month in January, March, May, July,
September and November, and on the third Monday of every
month of April, and fourth Monday of every month of October,
and at no other time.
Periods fixed.
    Sec. 2.  And be it enacted, That the said Orphans Court
shall set for the transaction of business, from nine o'clock A.
M. until three o'clock P. M; and the sessions of said Court
shall not at any time, exceed three days, except at the time of
holding the county Courts of said county, when the said Orphans
Court may set during the whole term of the said County
Court, if necessary, for the dispatch of business.
Hours prescribed.
    Sec. 3.  And be it enacted, That the act to regulate the meeting
of the Orphans Court of Anne Arundel county, passed at
December session eighteen hundred and twenty-eight, chapter
twelve, be and the same is hereby repealed.
Repeal.

                                        CHAPTER 44.

An act to incorporate the Cambridge Female Academy, in Dorchester
                                            county.



Passed Feb. 2, 1830.
    Section 1.  Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That an Academy be, and is hereby erected in Cambridge,
Dorchester county, by the name of the " Cambridge
Female Academy;" and the said Academy shall be regulated
Academy constituted.
