ordinance; a copy of this Act and notice of the time of hold-
ing such election and of the submission of this Act to the
voters of Easton shall be published once a week for two
weeks prior to said election in two weekly newspapers pub-
lished in the town of Easton; the ballots to be voted at said
election shall have this Act printed thereon and under the
same shall be provided two lines in which the voters may mark
their approval or disapproval by a cross-mark in the square
opposite the line desired, viz:
For the Fire Engine Loan Act.
Against the Fire Engine Loan Act.
If at such election a majority of. the voters who vote upon
said Act shall vote for the same then it shall at once go into
effect, but if a majority of said voters vote against the same
then it shall not go into effect or become operative.
SEC. 8. And be it further enacted. That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency law, and necessary for the imme-
diate preservation of the public safety, and being passed upon
a yea and nay vote supported by three-fifths of all members
elected to each of the two Houses of the General Assembly,
the same shall take effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 39
of Article 48 of the Annotated Code of Maryland," title
"Inspections," sub-title "Tobacco," relating to the rent-
ing of extra storage space.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 39 of Article 48 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland, title "Inspections," sub-title "Tobacco," be and
the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments
to read as follows:
