CHAPTER 481.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Article 32
of Bagby's Annotated Code of Public General Laws of
Maryland, entitled "Dentistry," by repealing and re-
enacting with amendments Sections 1, 2, 3, and 4 of said
Article by repealing Section 5 of said Article, by repeal-
ing and re-enseting with amendments Section 6, as Sec-
tion 5 of said Article, by enacting a new section to be
known as Section 6 of said Article, by repealing and re-
enacting with amendments Section 7 of said Article, by re-
pealing Section 8 of said Article, and enacting a new sec-
tion in lieu thereof, by repealing and re-enacting with
amendments Sections 9, 10 and 31 of said Article, and by
repealing Section 12 of said Article and enacting a new
section in lieu thereof.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Article 32 of Bagby's Annotated Code of Public
General Laws of Maryland, entitled "Dentistry," be and the
same is hereby repealed and re-enacted by repealing and re-
enacting with amendments Sections 1, 2, 3 and 4 of said Arti-
cle, by repealing Section 5 of said Article, by repealing and
re-enacting with amendments Section 6, as Section 5 of said
Article, by enacting a new section to be known as Section 6
of said Article, by repealing and re-enacting with amendments
Section 7 of said Article, by repealing Section 8 of said Article
and enacting a new section in lieu thereof, by repealing and
re-enacting with amendments Sections 9, 10 and 11 of said
Article, and by repealing Section 12 of said Article and en-
acting a new section in lieu thereof, so that said Article as
hereby re-enacted shall read as follows:

1. It shall be unlawful for any person to practice dentistry
in this State within the meaning of the penalties of this
Article, and as defined in Section 9 thereof, unless such per-
son shall previously have been registered and obtained a certifi-
cate of registration as hereinafter provided, and unless such
person shall exhibit on the door or front of the building
wherein he shall practice or attempt to practice dentistry, a
sign on which shall be the name of such person, provided that
any person practicing or attempting to practice dentistry, in
any building containing more than ten offices, may exhibit such
