105-A. The Sheriff of St. Mary's County shall be allowed
one dollar and twenty-five cents for serving a warrant and
making arrest and eighty cents for serving summons and
return.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That all laws or parts, of
laws inconsistent with the provisions of this Act be and they
are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1920.

AN ACT to authorize the State Roads Commission to take
over turnpike road from Ceresville to Woodsboro and to
construct a State road from Ceresville to Woodsboro,
Maryland.

CHAPTER 464.
AN ACT to repeal and, re-enact Section 308 of Article 13 of
the Public Local Laws of the State of Maryland, title
"Harford County," sub-title "Havre de Grace." as codi-
fied by Chapter 680 of the Acts of 1916.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 308 of Article 13 of the Public Local Laws
of the State of Maryland, title "Harford County," sub-title
"Havre de Grace," as codified "by Chapter 680 of the Acts of
1916, be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to read
as follows:
SEC. 308. The Mayor and City Council shall have power
to pass all such ordinances, directly or impliedly, authorized
by this sub-title and not contrary to the Constitution and laws
of this State, as they may deem necessary for the good govern-
fent of the city. They may pass ordinances to prevent, remove
and abate all nuisances and obstructions on or from the streets,
lanes, alleys, drains or water courses, or on, or from any lot
within the limits of the city; to remove or cause to be removed,
any houses or other buildings that may in their judgment be-
come dangerous; to cause the streets, lanes and alleys to be
paved, graded, drained or sewered; to cause the sidewalks
