quantity of land as they may deem necessary in order to carry
out the provisions of this Act under the provisions of Chapter
463 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed1
at the January session of 1914.

SEC. 12. And be it enacted, That every act or omission
designated as a misdemeanor in this Act, unless otherwise pro-
vided, shall be punishable before any Justice of the Peace, or
in the Circuit Court for Kent County, and shall be brought
by warrant or indictment upon the oath or information of any
member of said Commissioners of Millington or any employee
thereof, and the offender shall upon conviction be subject to
a fine not exceeding one hundred dollars or thirty days in the
county jail, or both, in the discretion of the Court, or Justice
of the Peace. Where such act or omission is of a continuous
nature, and is persisted in, in violation of the provisions of
this Act, or any rule or regulation formulated thereunder, a
conviction for one offense shall not be a bar to a conviction for
a continuation of such offense subsequent to the first or any
succeeding conviction.

SEC. 13. Be it enacted, That all Act and parts of Acts in-
consistent with the provisions of this Act, be and the same
are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency, pro-
vided that nothing herein contained shall be taken as affecting
Chapter 810 of the Acts of the Maryland Legislature of 1914,
nor as restricting any control which the State Board of Health
of Maryland is empowered to exercise within the corporate
limits of the Town of Millington.

SEC. 14. Be it enacted, That as a preliminary and pre-
requisite to the exercise of the power and authority hereby
granted and conferred the sense of the voters of the Town of
Millington who are qualified to vote at any election held in the
Town of Millington for Commissioners of Millington shall be
first taken and had thereto at an election to be held for the
purpose in the Town of Millington on the 8th day of May,
1920, at some suitable place in said town, selected by said
Commissioners of Millington between the hours of 2 P. M. and
5 P. M., the Commissioners of Millington to give at least two
weeks' notice of said election by advertising in one or more
newspapers published in Kent County aforesaid, and any Jus-
tice of the Peace selected by said Commissioners of Millington
shall preside at said election and if the said Justice of the
P.eace be not present at the time of the opening of the polls for
