SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the first day of June, 1920.

CHAPTER 4f9.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the Commissioners of
Millington, Kent County, Maryland, to build and con-
struct a water supply system, including drilled wells, re-
ceiving reservoir, pumping station, elevated tank and
tower, mains, connections and fire hydrants for the town
of Millington and to build and construct a sewerage sys-
tem, including a sewerage disposal plant for the town of
Millington; to provide for the issuing of bonds for the
purpose of such construction and the le.vy of taxes, assess-
ments and benefits for the payment of said bonds and the
operation, maintenance, regulation and control of said
systems and to provide for the right to condemn property.
SECTION L Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Commissioners of Millington, Kent County,
Maryland, be, and they are hereby authorized, empowered and
directed to build and construct a water supply system for the
Town of Millington, Kent County, State of Maryland, includ-
ing drilled wells, receiving reservoir, pumping station, ele-
vated tank a.nd tower, mains, connections and fire hydrants to
be erected in said town and to build and construct a sewerage
system for the Town of Millington, Kent County, State of
Maryland, including a sewerage disposal plant to be erected
in said town or in the suburbs thereof; and to run and operate
the said water supply system and the said sewerage disposal
plant for municipal and commercial purposes and for the pur-
pose of acquiring by purchase or condemnation whatever prop-
erty or right of ways, and for doing whatever work is Tieces-
sary therefor. The said Commissioners of Millington are au-
thorized, empowered and directed to borrow money on the
faith and credit of said town, not to exceed in the aggregate
the sum of fifty-five thousand dollars ($55,000.00), and to issue
bonds therefor to be known as the Millington Water and Sew-
erage Bonds. Said bonds shall be signed by the President of
the Commissioners of Millington with the corporate seal of
said Commissioners affixed and shall be registered by the
