construction of such other public works necessary to the pro-
tection of Ocean City beach front, as the State Roads Com-
mission may, in its discretion, deem necessary to protect Ocean
City from the tides.
SEC. 7. And be it further enacted, That the County Treas-
urers of the several counties of this State and the Mayor and
City Council of Baltimore are hereby respectively directed
to levy the State taxes for the year 1922 at one-thirtieth
(1-30) of one cent on each $100 of assessable property; for
the year 1923 at one-tenth (1-10) of one cent on each $100
of assessable property, for the year 1924 at one-eighth (1-8)
of one cent on each $100 of assessable property, and for the
year 1925 and annually thereafter up to and including 1937
at one-fifth (1-5) of one cent on each $100 of assessable prop-
erty to be collected according to law to meet the interest on
the amount of said certificates outstanding and also to meet
and redeem so much of the principal in each of said years, as
will be represented by certificates redeemable in each year
respectively as herein specified in Section 2 of this Act.
SEC. 8. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from and after the 1st day of June, 1920.

CHAPTER 383.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact Section 186 of Article 2 of
the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Anne Arundel
County," sub-title "Orphans' Court"; said section as
re-codified by order of the County Commissioners of Anne
Arundel County, and now appearing in the Local Code
as Section 308.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 308 of Article 2 of the Public Local Laws,
title "Anne Arundel County," sub-title "Orphans' Court,"
be, and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted with
amendments so as to read as follows:
308. The said Court shall sit for the transaction of busi-
ness from ten o'clock A. M. to three o'clock P. M., and each of
the judges of said Court shall receive the sum of six ($6.00)
dollars for each day's attendance upon the session of said
