of the General Assembly of Maryland, be and the same is
hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments so as to
read as follows:

SEC. 6. For each white male minor committed to the care
and training of the Maryland Training School for Boys from
the City of Baltimore or any one of the counties in the State,
the said city or county, as the case may be, shall, as herein
specified, pay into the State Treasury, the sum of one hun-
dred and eighty dollars ($180.00), per annum, for the care
and training of such white male minor, and the remaining
amount required for the care and training of such white male
minor shall be paid from the Treasury of the State, and the
said city or county, as the case may be, shall, as herein speci-
fied, pay into the State Treasury the sum of twenty-five dollars
($25.00), per annum, for each white male minor, paroled and
under the control of the Maryland Training School for Boys,
for supervising said white male minors. The expense for care,
training and supervision of all male minors in the Maryland
Training School for Boys and on parole and under its con-
trol shall be a charge upon each county and City of Balti-
more, committing such white male minor or minors to the
Maryland Training School for Boys, as hereinafter provided.
It shall be the duty of the Board of Managers of the Mary-
land Training School for Boys to furnish to the County Treas-
urer and to the Comptroller of the City of Baltimore, having
white male minors committed to the Maryland Training
School for Boys a quarterly statement giving the number of
white male minors and the name of each white male minor
from and charged to such county or the City of Baltimore, as
the case may be, and the cost of maintenance and supervision
due from said county and the City of Baltimore for such white
male minor or minors. The Board of Managers of the Mary-
land Training School for Boys shall certify to the State
Comptroller on the first days of January, April, July and
October, of each year, the amount not previously certified to
by him that is due the said Maryland Training School for
Boys from the several counties and the City of Baltimore,
having white male minors chargeable thereto, and the said
Comptroller shall pass the same to the credit of the Mary-
land Training School for Boys. The State Comptroller shall
thereupon notify the County Treasurer of each county, and
the Comptroller of the City of Baltimore, respectively, so
