SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from and after June 1st, 1920.

CHATTER 302.
AN ACT fo authorize the State Roads Commission of Mary-
land and the United States Department of Agriculture
under Act approved July 11, 1916, and Act approved
February 28, 1919, to construct and thereafter maintain
as a part of the State roads system, an improved concrete-
highway from Berlin, via Libertytown to connect with
the improved State road at Powellville,
(Vetoed.)
CHAPTER 303.
AN ACT to authorize the State Roads Commission of Mary-
land, and the United States Department of Agriculture,
under Act approved July 11, 1916, and Act approved
February 28. 1913, to construct and thereafter maintain:
as a part of the State roads system, an improved concrete
highway from Snow Hill to Salisbury,

CHAPTER 304.
AN ACT to legalize Staton's Code of Public Local Laws of
Worcester County.
Whereas, pursuant to the provisions of the Acts of 1912.
Chapter 450, the Local Laws of Worcester County were codi-
fied by John W. Statou and said codification was legalized by
Chapter 405 of the Acts of 1914.
Whereas, the said John W. Staton by virtue of the author-
ity conferred upon him by Chapter 212 of the Acts of 1918
has amended said code so as to include the Local Acts appli-
cable to Worcester County passed at the January session, 1918.
Now, therefore :
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the code Public Local Laws of Maryland,
Article 24, title "Worcester County" as codified by John W.
Staton under the provisions of Chapter 450 of the Acts of
1912, Legalized by Chapter 405 of the Acts of 1914, as amended
by said John W. Staton under the authority of Chapter 212 of
the Acts of 1918 so as to include the Local Laws applicable to
Worcester County passed at the January session, 1918, be and
the same is hereby legalized and shall be deemed and taken in
all Courts of this State and by all Justices of the Peace of
this State, and by all Public Officers of this State to be evidence.
