CHAPTER 286.
AN ACT to revive the Charter of the Baltimore National Au-
tomatic Fire Alarm Company, and to enable it to con-
tinue business as a corporation under the laws of the
State of Maryland upon payment of its franchise tax
due by said corporation to the State of Maryland for
the year 1901.
WHEREAS, The Baltimore National Automatic Fire Alarm
Company, a corporation organized and doing business under
the laws of the State of Maryland, did through inadvertence,
neglect to make payment of the franchise tax due to the State
of Maryland for the year 1901; and
WHEREAS, The Governor of Maryland did, under and by
authority of Chapter 316 of the Acts of Maryland of 1918,
by proclamation hearing date 28th day of June, 1919. declare
the charter of the said corporation null and void.
SECTION 1. Therefore, be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That the said proclamation of the Governor
of Maryland, in so far as it effected the Baltimore National
Automatic Fire Alarm Company, he and it is hereby set aside,
and that the said Baltimore National Automatic Fire Alarm
Company, be and it is hereby empowered to revive its charter
of incorporation and all powers incident thereto upon pay-
ment to the State of Maryland of the sum of $38.25, being the
franchise tax for the year 1901 together with the penalties
and interest upon said tax.

CHAPTER 287.
AN ACT to extend and continue in force the terms of the Act
of 1896. Chapter 264, entitled "An Act to provide for the
appointment of commissioners for the promotion of uni-
formity of legislation in the United States" as extended
and continued in force by the Act of 1900, Chapter 194;
by the Act of 1908, Chapter 407; by the Act of 1912,
Chapter 593, and by the Act of 1916, Chapter 543. and
to authorize the appointment and continuance of commis-
sioners thereunder.
