CHAPTER 258.
AN ACT to repeal Chapter 386 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January Session,
1918, being an Act authorizing and empowering the
County Commissioners of Montgomery County to put in
good repair the highway from Rockville to Travilah in
Montgomery County; to use funds, in whole or in part for
said construction, that may be allotted to Montgomery
County for road purposes by the State Roads Commission
under any general law of the State of Maryland, or to
issue bonds in an amount not to exceed forty thousand
(40,000) dollars for said purpose; providing, if the
County Commissioners of Montgomery County determine
to issue said bonds for said purpose, for the collection and
levying of taxes on the assessable property of Montgom-
ery County, the Fourth Election District and on the Sixth
Election District, of said county, for the payment of said
bonds and interest coupons thereon; providing that when
said highway shall be put in good repair, and the same
be satisfactory to the State Roads Commission, then said
highway shall be and become a part of the State Highway
System of the State of Maryland as now provided by law
for taking over State-Aid Highways by the State Roads
Commission when the same shall have been put in good
repair.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Chapter 386 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of Maryland passed at the January Session, 1918, be and the
same is hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall go into effect
the first day of June, 1920.

CHAPTER 259.
AN ACT to authorize the Board of County Commissioners of
Carroll County to refund to Michael H. Cooney, of How-
ard County, State of Maryland, twenty-five ($25.00) dol-
lars, less five per centum, for money paid by the said
Michael H. Cooney, for certain auctioneer's license fees
under Chapter 633, Laws of Maryland, 1914.
