drive off or enclose any game birds or game animals or young
or eggs of such birds or animals, while such animals or the
young or eggs thereof are kept or maintained on a game pre-
serve used for the purpose of raising or propagating game
birds or game animals, without the consent of the owner or
owners of such game preserve, and any person who shall tres-
pass upon such game preserve, shall be guilty of a mis-
demeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall be liable to a fine
of not less than fifty dollars'or more than one hundred dollars,
or to imprisonment in the House of Correction for a period
of not more than six months.

SECTION 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect and be in force from and after the first day of
June, 1920.

CHAPTER 112.

AN ACT to prevent unauthorized persons from trespassing on
the land of others, and for the protection of the State
land used for raising game and fish from trespassers
damage.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That it shall be unlawful for any person to enter or
trespass on any property which is posted against trespassers in
a conspicuous manner. Any person so doing shall be guilty of
a misdemeanor and upon conviction before any Justice of the
Peace shall pay a fine of fifteen dollars ($15.00) and the costs;
the prosecution of such offenders shall be made and proceed-
ings instituted by the landowner or tenant of the property un-
lawfully entered.

SECTION 2. And be it further enacted by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That in order to protect the State of
Maryland in its propagation of game and fish, it shall be un-
lawful for any person to enter or trespass in any manner, un-
authorized, on any land or waters owned or controlled by the
State for the use of the Game Department or Fish Depart-
ment, or lands which have been acquired as game preserves
or refuges, or for fish ponds or hatcheries, and it shall be un-
