CHAPTER 103.

AN ACT to fix the per diem of the Judges of the Orphans'
Court for Cecil County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Judges of the Orphans' Court for Cecil County
shall each receive the sum of ten dollars for every day's at-
tendance upon the session of said Court, to be paid at least as
often as the end of each and every quarter after the qualifi-
cation of said Judge, provided that said per diem shall not
exceed the sum of six hundred dollars in any one year.

SECTION 2. And be it further enacted, That all Acts or
parts of Acts, general or local, inconsistent with the provisions
of this Act be and the same are hereby repealed.

CHAPTER 104.

AN ACT to authorize and direct the Governor to appoint an
additional member of the State Board of Health, and to
provide for the qualifications of such member.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Governor is hereby authorized, empowered and
directed to appoint, by and with the advice and consent of
the Senate, an additional member of the State Board of
Health of Maryland. The said member, who shall be not less
than thirty years of age, shall be an experienced, certified
pharmacist, and shall have been for four years next preceding
his appointment, a resident of the State of Maryland. He
shall hold office for four years or until his successor has been
appointed and qualified, provided, that the term of office of
the first appointee under this Act shall expire on the last day
of January. 1924.

SECTION 2. All laws or parts of laws inconsistent herewith
are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.

SECTION 3. This Act shall become effective on and after
the first day of June, 1920.
