SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall not
affect or impair any rights vested, or any contracts, obliga-
tions, duties, liabilities or penalties whatever now existing.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the first day of June, 1920.

CHAPTER 646.

AN ACT to repeal Section 24 of Chapter 656 of the Acts of
the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the General
Session of 1904, entitled "An Act to repeal Chapter 619
of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed
at, the January Session, 1900. and to repeal Chapter 334
of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed
at the January Session, 1902, entitled 'An Act providing
for the election of a County Treasurer for Talbot County,'
and defining the duties and powers of said Treasurer."

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 24 of Chapter 656 of the Acts of
the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the General
Sessions of 1904, entitled "An Act to repeal Chapter 619 of
the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at
the January Session, 1900, and to repeal Chapter 334 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the
January Session, 1902, entitled 'An Act providing for the
election of a County Treasurer for Talbot County,' and de-
fining the duties and powers of said Treasurer," be and the
same is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act. shall take
effect from the first day of June, 1920.

AN ACT to repeal Chapter 355 of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland of 1886, entitled "An Act rela-
ting to causes before Justices of the Peace in Talbot
County," and to re-enact the same with amendments.
