The judgment of the Circuit Court for Charles County,
when so certified to the Town Commissioners of said town,
shall be spread upon the minutes of the proceedings of the
said Town Commissioners, whereupon the said Town Com-
missioners shall, in accordance with the judgment of the Cir-
cuit Court for Charles County, declare what person or persons
are the duly elected Town Commissioners of Indian Head.

SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That the said Town
Commissioners shall meet in said town on the first Monday
in June next succeeding their election, and as often there-
after as may be necessary to discharge the duties of the office,
not less, however, than once in every three months.

SEC. 6. And be it further enacted. That the said Town
Commissioners shall, at their first meeting after their election,
elect one of their members to be president; and all vacancies
in the board of Town Commissioners caused by death, resigna-
tion, removal from the town of Indian Head or otherwise, shall
be filled by the remaining members of said board.

SEC. 7. And be it further enacted, That the said Town
Commissioners shall annually appoint a clerk who shall also
be treasurer, who shall, keep minutes of their proceedings in
a well-bound book, procured by the Town Commissioners for
that purpose, which shall be open to the inspection of all per-
sons interested therein; he shall also keep proper accounts as
treasurer and shall perform such other duties as the Town
Commissioners may assign to him.

SEC. 8. And be it further enacted, That the said Town
Commissioners shall annually appoint a bailiff, who shall pre-
vent or disperse disorderly or irregular meetings of per-
sons within the corporate limits of said town; enforce the
ordinances enacted by the Town Commissioners, and perform
such other duties as the Town Commissioners may prescribe;
and who shall have, within said corporate limits all the
authority of a constable in making arrests and serving war-
rants and processes, whether ordered and issued by the Town
Commissioners or the president thereof, or by any justice
of the peace.

SEC. 9. And be it further enacted, That the Town Commis-
sioners and all other officers of the corporation created by
this Act or appointed by said Town Commissioners shall,
before they enter upon their duties of their respective offices,
