to the point where the north line of the State road connects
with the north line of the road continuing on into the said
reservation; thence with the said north line of the said State
road, in an easterly direction, to the corner formed by the
juncture of the land of the said U. S. Government with the
land of John J. Gering; thence, with the line dividing the
two last mentioned lands to the Potomac river; thence with
the said river to the point of intersection of same with the
west line of the Glymont-Indian Head Wharf road; thence
with the last mentioned line to the aforementioned State road,
continuing the same course across the said State road to the
south line of the same; thence westerly with the south line
of the said State road to the northeast corner of the land of
K. P. Krouse; thence with the west line of the 20-foot road
dividing the said land of K. P. Krouse from a certain tract
of land now owned by the said Francis E. Mattingly. and
continuing the course of same, to Mattawoman creek; thence
down and with the said creek to the aforementioned line
dividing the lands of the said Francis E. Mattingly and the
U. S. Government as aforesaid ; thence with the last mention-
ed line to the beginning.

SEC. 8. And be it further enacted, That the citizens of said
town of Indian Head having the qualifications prescribed for
voters by the laws of this State and having resided in said
town six months previous to any municipal election, shall an-
nually on the first Monday in May elect three citizens, tax-
payers of said town of Indian Head, who are assessed on the
tax books of said Charles County as owning five hundred
($500.00) dollars' worth of property within the corporate lim-
its of said town of Indian Head, who shall have resided in
said town for twelve months next preceding said election, as
the Town Commissioners of Indian Head to serve for one
year, from June 1st next succeeding their election or until
their successors shall be elected and qualified. Said Town
Commissioners shall receive no pay for their services as such,
and they shall continue to reside in said town during their
term of office; provided, however, that there shall be no elec-
tion of Town Commissioners in the month of May, 1920, but
that Francis E. Mattingly, Frederick C. Shaw and Thomas
Norman shall be and constitute the Town Commissioners of
Indian Head, from and after the first day of June, 1920, until
