article where advertisements are required to be made in at
least two newspapers; provided, however, that nothing in this
section, shall be construed to alter- or change the boundaries
or location of any precinct as now established by the several
Boards of Supervisors of Elections, and all precincts as now
located and laid out or subdivided by the Supervisors of
Elections be and the same are hereby sanctioned, ratified
and confirmed, provided, however, that nothing in this sec-
tion shall be construed to prevent the several Boards of
Supervisors of Elections in the Counties of this State.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1920.

CHAPTER 59.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section 82A
of Article 11 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, title "Frederick County," sub-title "County Com-
missioners," as repealed and re-enacted by Chapter 135,
Acts of 1916, of the General Assembly of Maryland, codi-
fied as Section 728,-title "Taxes," Dennis' Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws of Frederick County, providing when
county taxes shall become due and the penalties for non-
payment when overdue.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
lanvd, That Section 82A of Article 11 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Frederick County," sub-title
"County Commissioners," as repealed and re-enacted by
Chapter 135, Acts»of 1916 of the General Assembly of Mary-
land, codified as Section 728, title "Taxes," Dennis' Code of
Public Local Laws of Frederick County, be and the same is
hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments so as to
read as follows:
SECTION 728. All county taxes shall be due as soon as they
are levied and if not paid on or before the first day of Sep-
tember of the year in which they are levied shall bear interest
from said first day of September, until paid, at the rate of
6% per annum, and at any time after the first day of Janu-
