only; and it shall be unlawful to sell, offer for sale, purchase
or offer to purchase, or buy such named birds and animals at
any time whether same are caught or killed within the State
of Maryland, or any other State, Territory or Country. And
in order to establish the ringneck pheasant in Maryland as an
additional game bird, it shall be unlawful to shoot cr trap or
kill or take in any manner, at any time any female ringneck
pheasant of any variety. Provided, however, such female ring-
neck pheasants if raised in captivity may be killed on the
premises where raised by other means'than by shooting, dur-
ing the open season, or same may be sold alive for propagating
and re-stocking. Penalties for violation of the provisions of
this section are found in Section 21 of Code, Article 9-9.
SEC. 2. All laws, both local or general, inconsistent with the
provisions of the section, whether passed at this session of the
Legislature or at former sessions, are hereby repealed. And
this Act shall take effect from June 1, 1920.

CHAPTER 571.
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments. Section
10 of Chapter 512, Acts of 1916, entitled: "An Act
to incorporate The. Baltimore Traneit and Terminal
Company, a railroad corporation; to authorize the trans-
fer of all or a part of its stock to The Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore as an inalienable holding in perpe-
tuity; to authorize the Mayor and City Council of Balti-
more, in consideration of such transfer, to grant to said
The Baltimore Transit and Terminal Company a fran-
chise for a term greater than twenty-five years, and to
expand the time within which said franchise must be
executed and enjoyed beyond the period of six months;
and to authorize said The Baltimore Transit and Ter-
minal Company to issue bonds in excess of the par value
in which said Company may organize and apply for its
franchise and the time within which the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore may exercise the authority therein
granted, and placing said The Baltimore Transit and
Terminal Company under the control of the Public Serv-
ice Commission,
