three collection districts of said Worcester County; and one
of said County Commissioners shall be a resident of each of
said three Commissioner Districts, so that the Board of
County Commissioners shall be composed always of a repre-
sentative from each of said three Commissioner Districts; and
the salary of each of said Commissioners shall be one thousand
and two hundred dollars a year, payable monthly, and the
said Commissioners shall meet at least, two days in every week
and shall be in session during the usual business office hours,
at such places as they desire to examine roads, bridges or any
other public duties, but nothing herein contained shall be con-
strued to affect or alter the terms of office of the County
Commissioners already elected or to change or alter the com-
pensation of the County Commissioners prior to the beginning
of the terms of those who will be elected under the provisions
hereof in November, 1923, and until said election of November,
1923, the County Commissioners shall be five in number as
at the time of the passage hereof, but the change in number
and the change in compensation of said Commissioners shall
begin Avith the election of November, 1923.

CHAPTER 551.

AN ACT to establish the police limits of the town of Thur-
mout, in Frederick County, Maryland, and to extend the
use and operation of the Electric Light plant owned by
said town in said police limits.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the police limits of the town of Thurmont, in
Frederick County, Maryland, shall extend one-half mile in
all directions beyond the corporate limits of said town and
the Commissioners of Thurmont are hereby authorized to
extend the use and operation of the Electric Light plant
owned by said town of Thurmont in the police limits of said
town on the same terms and conditions the said plant is
operated in the corporate limits of said town. Nothing in
this Act is intended or shall be taken or construed as relieving
the Commissioners of Thurmont from any and all provisions
of Chapter 180 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Mary-
land of 1910, known as the " Public Service Commission Law"
or any amendment thereto.
