Resolution in relation to the Laws.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Clerk of the Executive Council, be required to
publish such laws of a public nature as they may deem
necessary, in one newspaper in each county, in which
a newspaper is printed, and in two newspapers in the
city of Baltimore, and the Governor is hereby author-
ised to draw on the Treasurer of the Western Shore,
for the amount necessary to pay the cost of such publi-
cation; provided, that the same snail not exceed fifty
dollars to each.

Resolution in favour of Edward Thompson.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore pay to Edward
Thompson the sum of five dollars for his serviced as an
extra Committee Clerk.

Resolution in favour of John Quynn and A Slicer.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the Treasurer of the Western Shore pay to Andrew
Slicer, messenger to the Senate, and John Quynn,
doorkeeper of the House of Delegates, sixty dollars
each, for taking care of their respective rooms and for-
niture during the recess of the Legislature, and also
for taking care of the public circle.
