A supplement to an act to provide for the building a
Bridge over the Western Run in Baltimore county, at
the place therein mentioned, passed at December ses-
sion, eighteen hundred and thirty-five, chapter fifty-
eight.

WHEREAS, it is represented to this General Assem-
bly, by the petition of the commisioners mentioned in
the first section of the act to which this is a supple-
ment, and also by sundry taxable inhabitants of Bal-
timore county, that the sum of money authorised to be
levied upon the assessable property of said county, for
the purpose of building the bridge therein mentioned,
is insufficient to build the same; — Therefore,

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the commissioners of Baltimore county, be and
they are hereby authorised and required, at their next
annual levy, to levy upon the assessable property of
said county, the sum of three hundred dollars, to be

collected as other county charges are; and to pay the
same over to the commissioners authorised to build the
bridge, as provided by the act to which this is a supple-
ment, if in their judgment such additional sum be ne-
cessary for the building and completion of said bridge;
and that the said bridge commissioners are hereby re-

quired to account to the commissioners of Baltimore
county, for the faithful application of the money here-
by authorised to be applied to the building of said bridge,
in the same manner as is provided by the act to which
this is a supplement.

An act relating to Uhler's Alley, in the City of Baltimore.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That it shall be lawful for the Mayor and City Council
of Baltimore, at any time after the passage of this act,
to provide by ordinance for the closing of so much of
Uhler's alley, from its intersection with Charles street,
westwardly, as may be agreed to by the owners of the
