CHAPTER 102.

in mentioned, passed at December session eighteen

Preamble
|
WHEREAS, it is deemed right and proper to correct
the names mentioned in the act entitled, an act to re-
lease the right of the State to a part of a tract of land
therein mentioned, passed at December session eighteen
hundred and ten, chapter eight: — herefore,
|
|
|
Error rectified
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the name, of the tract of land mentioned in the
act above recited, shall be deemed and taken to he
Islington, alias Eslington, as mentioned in said act, and
the names of Joshua Leghtizer, and Catherine Legh-
tizer, shall be deemed and taken to be Joshua Lighthi-
zcr, and Catherine Lighthizer, alias Leghtizer, as
mentioned in the act aforesaid, and the land therein
mentioned shall be and the same is hereby confirmed to
the said Joshua Lighthizer and Catherine Lighthizer
his wife, their heirs and assigns for ever.

An act fo Divorce Emily Ann Stevens, of Queen Ann's
County, from her husband James C. Stevens.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Emily Ann Stcvcns, of Queen Anne's
county, be and she is hereby divorced, a mensa et thoro'
from her husband James C. Stevens.

Right of proper-
ty
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said James C.
Stevens, shall not he authorised to have or claim any
right, title, or interest in the estate, real, personal or
mixed of the said Emily Ann Stevens, that shall be
acquired by her after the passage of this act, nor shall
the said Emily Ann Stevens, be entitled, in any man-
ner to have or claim any right, title, or interest in the
estate, real, personal or mixed of the said James C.
Stevens, that shall be acquired by him after the pas-
sage of this act.
