75 ~ [February 1693/4] Separation agreement between John Bonnes and wife Mabel Maryland // Know all men by these presents that I John Bonnes of the County of Somerset seiner do oblige my self my Heirs Executors Administrators not to trouble nor molest my Wife Mabell Bonnes nor any Man or Woman that shall any wayes entertaine her, and doe further with my free consent give her free liberty for to goe where she pleaseth. And I doe freely give her her Mayre side sadle and bridle, with her wearing clothes, that is to say, linnen and woolen, or what silks cloathes belongeth unto her. And further I doe bind my self dureing my life for to pay unto the above sd Mabell Bonnes or her order from this present date, one thousand pounds of tobacco p/ year, during my life, if the said Mabell Bonnes doe live so long as I. To which Agreement here above written I the said John Bonnes doe bind my self for to p/forme as above said.
