CHAPTER 468.
AN ACT to authorize the Board of County School Commis-
sioners of Carroll County to refund to Mary A. Baker, of
Carroll County, State of Maryland, administratrix, of J.
Frank Baker, of said County and State, deceased, ninety-
three dollars and seventy-five cents, less five per centum, for
money paid by the said J. Frank Baker, in his lifetime, for
an unused liquor license issued in said Carroll County.
WHEREAS, J. Frank Baker, late of Carroll County, Mary-
land, paid the sum of Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars to the
Clerk of the Circuit Court for Carroll County for a liquor
license for the year 1914, commencing on the first day of May,
of 1914, and to continue for twelve months thereafter, and
said J. Frank Baker, afterwards, to wit, on the nineteenth day
of October, 1914, departed this life, and no use or benefit was
had from said license after the month of October, 1914, and
the sum of One Hundred and Eight-seven Dollars and Fifty
Cents, less five per centum, of said license money was by law
paid by said Clerk of said Court to the Board of County School
Commissioners of Carroll County; therefore,
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the Board of School Commissioners of Car-
roll County be and is hereby authorized to refund and pay to
Mary A. Baker, administratrix of J. Frank Baker, deceased,
the sum of ninety-three dollars and seventy-five cents, less five
per centum.
SEC. 2. And be it enacted therefore, That this Act shall
take effect from the first day of June, 1916.

CHAPTER 469.
AN ACT authorizing and directing the County Commissioners
of Montgomery County to issue bonds to an amount not to
exceed Fifteen Thousand ($15, 000) Dollars, for the pur-
pose of building, improving and relocating the public road
from the end of the improved road at Old Germantown to
the State Road near Seneca Creek by the way of the new
road through the lands of James H. Jones, in said Mont-
gomery County, provided that certain donations be made,
